Our Artwork
The artwork is a composite of steel, cement and glass. We begin by welding the steel armature for each piece. This is covered with stucco lathe wire and the form begins to take shape. Next, we apply cement to the form with additives that enhances strength and frost resistance. Mineral pigments are added to the cement to create color and patinas that enhance each piece. After that, each piece of glass is individually applied.

The glass is opalescent, frost proof and manufactured in Ravenna, Italy. The horns used in various pieces are genuine and the eyes are glass. Finally, the mosaic work is grouted and polished. The sculpture may be placed indoors or outdoors in temperate winter climates. Because each sculpture is unique and complex in design, the time it takes to produce a piece varies from one to four weeks.
